On a cool grey afternoon in Grand Haven, the Eagles offense came to life and exploded on a good Buccaneers team.  The Eagles opened the scoring with Junior Parker Selders finding the back of the net early in the game. The game was tight going into the half with the Eagles holding a 4-3 advantage.  That all changed in the second half when the Eagles ripped the back of the net 6 times and the staunch Eagles defense shut down the Buccaneers offense allowing one second half goal.  Senior goal keeper Gerrit Kurtycz stopped 15 shots on goal and finished the day with a 79 save percentage.  The offensive barrage was led by Seniors Colton Warren and Jack Berry, each with a hat trick.  Sophomore Jon Bickford notched two goals, and Senior Cam Block notched 1. Junior Jack Beltz had multiple assists to lead the Eagles.

The Eagles next game will celebrate our Senior players with Senior Night on Tuesday May 2 in Hudsonville versus rival and undefeated Zeeland at 7pm. Come out and support your Eagles as they look to upend the 9th ranked Chixs.
