Varsity Volleyball Goes 5-1

The Varsity Volleyball Team finished 2nd Place at the Mona Shores Volleyball Tournament. The Eagles took first in their pool defeating Grand Rapids Catholic Central 25-17, 25-23, Kalamazoo Central 25-20, 25-21, Traverse City West 25-14, 25-18 and Mona Shores 25-14, 25-19. The Eagles 1st place finish in pool play landed them an automatic spot in the semi finals.

The Eagles faced Kalamazoo Central again where they defeated them 25-22, 25-14. The Eagles then fell to Zeeland East in the finals with scores of 25-18, 23-25, 7-15.

The Eagles fought hard throughout the day and left with a 5-1 record. The Eagles are now 31-11-1 overall and will compete at West Ottawa to continue their conference play on Tuesday.
