Boys Varsity Hockey · EAGLES HOCKEY WINS 4-2 OVER KALAMAZOO EAGLES

Friday night at Georgetown Ice Arena turned out to be an exciting one for the hockey team.  Hudsonville started off the scoring and by the end of the 1st period held on to the lead 2-1.  In the 2nd period, Kalamazoo came out with something to prove scoring a goal and shutting out the home team to end the 2nd period with the score tied 2-2.  The 3rd period was even till late until Senior Jesse Rotman punched one in for the go ahead goal.  Kalamazoo pulled their goalie with around a minute left in the game for one last push, but that push ended with Senior Ryker Barber scoring on the empty net to seal the win 4-2.  Senior goaltender Alex Ezinga turned away 43 of the 45 shots he faced.  The 2 other goal scorers of the evening for Hudsonville were Mike VanderVeen and Alex DeHeer.

Eagles next game is Saturday 12/7 at Georgetown Ice Arena
