Hudsonville High School
Spring Lake High School
The Hudsonville Girl’s Varsity Lacrosse team fought hard against Spring Lake on Monday night, in a game that resulted in a 17-2 loss. The Eagle’s defense played an energetic, challenging game, showing immense effort to stop the Lakers, despite the opposing team’s powerful shots on goal. When the ball got to the offensive side of the field, the girls did their best to place their shots, but were stopped by Spring Lake’s experienced defense and goalie. Overall, the game was a great learning experience for the Eagles, and they hope to take this knowledge to the field with them as they face off against Northview High School on Wednesday night.
Eagles goals were scored by Casey Heintzelman and Lauren Hanenburg with an assist from Kenzie Miller. Goalies Alivia English ended the first half with 4 saves, and Grace Kloosterman ended the game with 3 saves in goal.
