Varsity Lacrosse loses to Brighton 9-3, ends 7 game win streak
Playing their third game in 4 nights the tired Eagles could not handle the strength of the 14th ranked Bulldogs, losing 9-3 in Brighton. The game was a tight game to start with Senior middie Charlie Hinken opening the scoring with a great steal from the goalie and a quick put back. Besides that the Eagles could not muster much offense. The Bulldogs brought a highly ranked offense and a staunch defense to shut down the Eagles. The game was sloppy with many turnovers and mistakes that gave the Bulldogs the opportunity to blow the game open by half, leading 6-1 at the break. The Eagles found the back of the net again with Hinken scoring his second goal of the night and Senior middie Jack Berry completed the scoring with a nice rip. Assisting in two of the goals was Senior attackman Colton Warren and Junior Jack Beltz.
