Claire Tuttle, Hudsonville High School sophomore had an amazing weekend at Oakland University at the MHSAA D1 State Championships.  Claire was the top seed entering the meet in the 100 yard breaststroke.  After a fast preliminary swim of 1:02.79, she entered finals as the second seed in her breaststroke. The finals session proved to be Claire’s best performance of the season, winning the 100 breast in a time of 1:01.32.

The time is an automatic All-American qualification for Claire.  Her 100 yard breaststroke was also the second fastest swim by a female in Michigan High School history.
Claire is been a part of 5 All-American performances this season.
