The girls bowling team qualified for the state finals by finishing in 3rd place at the regional held at Bowlero Lanes in Battle Creek. Practicing the night before paid off for the girls as they started the day off hot rolling a 225 baker game. After the 6 team baker games, the girls kept marking rolling their high regular game of 919. Paetyn Bentley led the way that game with a 216. Also contributing were Madison Lyons (164), Makenna Hendrickson (174), Addie Gilliam (181), and Tanneill DeJongh (184). This game put the girls in first place overall with two games to play. The girls struggled a little in the 3rd game with the oil changing, but still held on to take 3rd place overall behind Caledonia and Jenison to qualify for the state finals. This starts a new streak for girls bowling. They have now qualified for the state finals 7 out of the last 8 years.
