Eagles News · Varsity Volleyball Finishes First


The Varsity Volleyball team competed in a tough tournament at Mona Shores today. The Eagles came out strong in pool play defeating Whitehall 25-13, 25-20 and Catholic Central 25-14, 25-20. From there, the Eagles were placed into the Gold pool. The Eagles first faced West Ottawa. The Eagles didn’t drop a set and defeated the Panthers 25-14, 25-22. In the finals, the Eagles went up against another OK Red competitor in Grand Haven. The Eagles came out on fire and defeated Grand Haven 25-9, 25-19. This win helped them finish 4-0 on the day and in first place.

The Eagles are now 36-5-2 overall. The Eagles have a bye next week, therefore, their next match is Tuesday, October 16 where they will continue their conference play against Caledonia.
