Eagles News · Girl’s Swim and Dive Take 4th Place at Conference Meet


To start the meet the 200 Medley Relay team of Kelly Peasly, Claire Tuttle, Natalie Fisher, and Lauren Roberston swam a season best time of 1:46.53 to out-touch the Rockford Medley team to place 1st in the event and setting a new West Ottawa Pool Record.
Other records set include:
* Claire 1st place in the 200 Freestyle at 1:50.32 – Conference Record, West Ottawa Pool Record, and HHS Varsity Record
* Kelly 1st place in the 100 Freestyle at 51.72 – West Ottawa Pool Record
* Claire 1st place in the 100 Breaststroke at 1:02.43 – Conference Record and West Ottawa Pool Record
Additional top eight individual finishers include: Emily Bergstrom, McKenna Brink, Taylor DeHommel, Natalie Fisher, Sydney Kline, Emma Lamers, and Jessica Otey.
Additional points for the Eagles scored by placing 9th-16th include: Bella Bolhuis, Aubrey Buckingham, Alexa Hartman, Avery Koperski, Jenna Kuiper, Rachel Maki, Kayla Mol, Chela Reiss, Lauren Robertson, and Kaylee Stray.
The Eagles finished 4th at the OK Red Conference. The State qualifiers will head to Eastern Michigan University November 16 & 17 for the DI MHSAA Meet.
