Eagles News · Hudsonville Defeats Rockford in Girl’s Water Polo to Remain Undefeated


The Lady Eagles Water Polo continues their undefeated season with a 16-8 win over the Ram giving them a 5-0 OK Conference Record. The match up of two powerhouse water polo programs started with a very evenly matched game and the finished the first quarter with Eagles leading 3-2.
During the second quarter the Eagles defense held the Rams offense while the Eagles offense scored 2 closing the first half with a score of 5-2. Both team had a strong 3rd quarter offensively with the Eagles scoring an additional 5 goals and the Rams scoring 4 bringing the score to 10-6. Hudsonville finished the game with very strong offensive play adding an additional 6 points to the score and defensively only allowed 2 goals by Rockford.
