The Eagles were back in action last night as they took on the Buccaneers of Grand Haven. Defense was the story for the Eagles as they tallied 21 steals on the night Eva Joldersma accounted for 6 of those, while Alaina Diaz added another 6 steals. The Eagles jumped out to an early lead thanks to seven 1st quarter points by Maddie Petroelje. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Eagles had an 18-9 lead. The second quarter, the defense for the Eagles intensified and held the Bucs to just 4 points. Jaci Tubergen score 8 of her game high 15 points in the the 2nd Quarter to give the Eagles a 33-13 halftime lead. After the half, the Eagles continued their defensive play and during the 3rd and 4th quarter the Eagles had 8 different players score to take the 57-30 victory.

The Eagles are back in action this Friday at Home against East Kentwood.
