The Lady Eagles come up big against the Buccaneers of Grand Haven.

This is how the meet played out…

*The Eagles kicked off the meet with a nice win in the 4×800 Relay (Haseley, Frank, Gray, Helder)
*Followed up with a 2nd (Mack) and 3rd (Ostapowicz) in the 100 Hurdles
*Up next Alexa Hartman won the 100 Meter Dash picking up 5 big points
*2 events later, Helder and Gray went 1-2 in the 1600 Meter Run
* The 4×100 Relay was a photo finish with the team of Mandryk, Hartman, Stankiewicz and Lowry taking the win
*In the 400 Meter Dash, Helder nabbed 1st while Gray came from behind to take 3rd
*In the 300 Hurdles, Ostapowicz upset Grand Haven’s fastest girl to take 5 big 1st place points and Hinken crossed the line with a gutsy 3rd place finish
*Helder capped her night off with another 1st in the 800 Meter Run
*In the 200 Meter Dash, Hartman took a solid 2nd earning her team 3 points
*The Lady Eagles swept the 3200 Run sealing the team victory with Gray, Nibbelink, and Fookes in that order
*In the field events, Braely Herrema stole the show in High Jump and jumped to 1st with a PR of 5′ 5″
*The Lady Eagles qualified 3 to Long Jump finals with Herrema taking 1st and Ostapowicz jumping to 3rd
*In the Pole Vault, it was Ostapowicz with 5 points again and Bolhuis coming up big with a 9′ vault and a huge 2nd place for the Lady Eagles
*In Discus, Peters and Fine went 2-3
*And in Shot Put, Peters earned a 2nd place finish

Up next, the Varsity Team heads to the Ken Bell Invitational in Traverse City on Friday and on Monday the Lady Eagles face off in the final dual meet of the season at West Ottawa.
