The boys varsity hockey team traveled to Ludington to face the Lakeshore Badgers Wednesday evening for a non league game. Both teams were evenly matched and gave all the fans a game to remember with back and forth action!! Lucas Brandow opened the scoring in the first period with a goal, assisted by Logan Kowalke and Carter O'Gorman. Lakeshore would tie the game a few minutes later, and that's how the game would stay through the end of regulation. With just over two minutes left in overtime, Kowalke took a pass from Brandow and O'Gorman and entered the zone with a shot from the slot that beat the Lakeshore goalie "5-hole"!! That earned the Eagles the first win of the season, great job Eagles!!! Senior goalie Blake Visser made 34 saves in net to earn the win!! Come out and support the Eagles Wednesday November 26th 4:00 PM when they return home to face Portage!
