For a group of guys who did not have many returners from last year with lots of varsity experience this game would be crucial to get off on the right foot. The Eagles would do just that opening up red hot from deep and never trail the Sailors the entire game. The Eagles would lean on 4 year player Jovaan Daniels to help lead the team today and get the Eagles off on the right foot. He would contribute a game high 20 points while also dishing out 8 assists. He would get some help from the Rylan Scholma who started his first game on varsity and poured in 12 points. Rounding out the top scorers was Levi VanderVeen putting up 10 points. Overall it was a balanced attack from the Eagles who look to improve upon their success tonight.
