It was a battle between two good teams in front of an electric crowd tonight. It would be the Eagles who would deliver the first blow but wasn't able to create much separation from the Crusaders. The Eagles would only hold a 7 point lead after the first and an 8 point lead going into the half. The Crusaders would respond in the 2nd half and would erase that lead and take a 2 point advantage after the 3rd. The fourth quarter would be back and forth with neither team taking a lead bigger than 5 points. The Crusaders would hold a 3 point advantage with 10 seconds left before Alex Armstrong with hit a 3 with 4 seconds remaining. In overtime the Eagles would seize control and never let go of it sealing the game with free throws. Leading the way for the Eagles was Jovaan Daniels with 23 points. Also in double figures was Alex Armstrong with 13 points and Levi VanderVeen with 11 points.
