Girls JV Basketball Falls to Rockford 45 - 32 Last Friday night the Eagles played a hard fought game at Rockford but fell short 45 - 32. The Rams won the offensive boards to garner second chance points and finished shooting well from the free throw line going 8 out of 10 in the fourth quarter to hold back an Eagle rally. Hudsonville was unusually cold from the three point line during the game while missing several inside shot opportunities through out the game. The team never stopped battling and played extremely hard down to the buzzer. Brooklyn VanStedum led the Eagles with 8 points while Susie Sahtoe and Olivia Hopkins both had 7. Next up is a road trip to East Kentwood on Tuesday at 5:30 PM in the Freshman Campus Gym. Girl's Varsity will play at 7 PM n the main high school gym after the Boy's Varsity game that starts at 5:30.
