JV Eagles Fly Past the Falcons 65 - 24 The JV Eagles were flying high and fast while sharing the ball extremely well as they flew past East Kentwood 65 - 24. The hot shooting Eagles used excellent defense and a high speed offense to lead 42 to 10 at the half. Adde Ulberg led all scorers with 20 points including 18 in the first half! Both Olivia Hopkins and Kyra Poisson finished in double digits with 10 apiece. Sofia Beel and Jayda Ortiz both finished with 7 while Brooklyn VanStedum had 5. Rounding out the scoring with 2 points each were Danielle Renfroe, Susie Sahtoe and Paige Vanslyke. The team is now 13 - 3 on the season heading into a home game in the Central Gym on Friday at 4 PM versus Grandville. The girls' varsity will celebrate senior night on Friday and will play at 5:30 followed by the boys' varsity game at 7. Both varsity contests will be in the Fieldhouse.
