Eagles Dominate Second Half to Beat Grandville 46 - 20 The Eagles channeled their energy from a messy offensive first half and put it together to outscore Grandville 31 to 6 in the second half to win 46 - 20. The halftime score was 15 - 14 Hudsonville. It was great to see how the team responded after half time as they played unselfishly and focused. Susie Sahtoe was a force on both ends of the floor including rebounding while leading the team in scoring with 11. Brooklyn VanStedum finished with 9, Sofia Beel had 7, Adde Ulberg 5, Jill Kornoelje and Kyra Poisson each had 4, while Jayda Ortiz, Paige Vanslyke and Olivia Hopkins rounded out the scoring with 2 each. The JV team rolls into a busy week with our final home game on Monday night in the Fieldhouse at 6:30 versus Forest Hills Northern, then they head to Coopersville on Tuesday for a 5:30 contest. (Only Freshmen girls and JV play on Monday and Tuesday nights - no varsity girls games) Next Friday we end our conference schedule with a 4 PM game at West Ottawa. The team is currently 14 - 3.
