On Monday, four Hudsonville bowlers competed in the MHSAA Singles Finals in Allen Park. Noah Jenkins, Dominic Scherer, Cayden Bessinger, and Mason DeWeerd represented the Eagles among the top 32 Division 1 boys bowlers in the state. After six games of qualifying, Mason, Dominic, and Cayden each earned a spot in the Round of 16 — an impressive accomplishment at the state level. In the Sweet 16, all three competed with focus and determination, bowling strong matches before narrowly falling short of advancing. All four athletes have much to be proud of this season. Their hard work, consistency, and competitive drive led to each being named Second Team All-State — a tremendous honor and a reflection of the dedication they showed all year long.
