The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team won 16-5 over Grand Haven last night to improve to 6-1 in the season. Junior Anniston Farrell also got to celebrate her 100th career goal as an Eagle. Major contributors to the game include Junior Goalie Tessa Nederveld who came up with 10 saves, Senior Defenders Lucy Kambestad and Ryan Vanderbeek who came up with a combined 6 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers, and goal contributors Lauren Dirkse (1A), Anniston Farrel (2G, 1A), Scarlett Coulter (4G), Lola Rex (2G), Brielle Duimstra (1G), Kendall Baker (4G, 3A), Lynsie Vandenbos (2A), Isabella Jaroh (2G), and Kiley Chase (1G). The Eagles return to play tomorrow night at Grand Rapids Forest Hills NE for a non conference matchup.
