Varsity vs Jenison High School Game one win for Eagles, 14-3 in six innings. Hudsonville got a strong three innings of shutout softball again from Sophia VanKempen. She game up two hits while walking on body and striking out six Wildcat hitters. the offense was led by Tessa Heffelbower with three hits and four runs batted in. Leah Veenstra added three hits. Kam Stankus, Lauren Luchies, and Josie McDuffee all had two hits. The Eagles pounded out 15 hits in the game. The Eagles also won game two 8-4, but after falling behind 3-0 in the first inning they came back and took the lead in the fourth inning to get the victory. Paige Visser started the game and gave up the four runs and she was relieved by VanKempen in the final two innings. The Eagles only had six hits but they made them count with 3 doubles and 2 triples.
