By Nicholas Huizenga | May 1, 2026 7:44 AM

Hudsonville JV Baseball secured the series victory over West Ottawa on Thursday with a commanding 9-1 performance, taking the three-game set 2-1. Graham Rosema was dominant on the mound, tossing a complete game while allowing just four hits and no earned runs. Rosema struck out seven and kept West Ottawa off balance all afternoon as he worked efficiently through the lineup. Hudsonville’s offense backed him up with another strong performance at the plate. Luke Uhlig added a hit and an RBI, Kayden Rodriguez finished with a hit and two RBIs, and Aiden Straus continued his hot stretch with two hits and two RBIs. Jack Arens also drove in a run, while Anderson Visser chipped in with a hit of his own. Defensively, the Eagles were sharp behind Rosema, with key defensive plays from Kaden Condon and Kayden Rodriguez helping preserve the lead and keep momentum on Hudsonville’s side. With the victory, Hudsonville takes the series over West Ottawa two games to one and will turn its attention to Northview on Friday.
