The Hudsonville Girls Lacrosse team beat Tier 1 Grand Rapids Northview Friday night in an exciting 14-13 win. Down 1-6 early in the first quarter, the Eagles continued to fight their way back into the game gained the first and final lead of the game with only 30 seconds remaining. Junior Goalie Tessa Nederveld also recorded her 200th career save! Contributing offensively were the following players: Lauren Dirkse (1G), Anniston Farrell (1G, 1A), Scarlett Coulter (6G, 1A), Lola Rex (1G, 1A), Kendall Baker (3G, 2A), Isabella Jaroh (1G, 1A), and Kiley Chase (1G, 3A). Senior defensive trio Ryan Vanderbeek, Lucy Kambestad, and Olivia Raj led the defense in ground balls and caused turnovers. The Eagles will return to action on Monday night at 6pm vs. Jenison (8-2) for a conference matchup.
