The JV softball team finished a rare 5-game season series against Rockford by winning 10-6 and 10-2 in a thunder-delayed doubleheader. The Eagles took the overall series, 4 games to 1, avenging their lone loss on the season to the Rams. Finley Heethuis provided the lightening, notching 15 strikeouts in game 2, and the defense limited the effect of a combined 20 baserunners on the day to keep the Rams under wraps.
