In Game 3 of their series with Rockford Rams, the Eagle Varsity Baseball team won 7-2 at Hudsy. Coleton Vander Ploeg gained the win going 5 innings while striking out 10. Dylan Matz closed the game with 2 Ks and no hits. The offense was opportunistic with 7 runs on only 6 hits. Caeden Kennedy had a big RBI triple in the 1st and a SF in the 4th. Braylon Miller scored 2 runs on 2 BBs and 2 HBPs. Harry Phillips added a RBI single and Ty Ladd produced 2 RBI single and run scored. Graeme Crooks came off the bench and chipped in with a big bunt hit and run. The win moves the Eagles record in the OK Red to 8-4 and a tie for the lead with one series remaining next week vs East Kentwood. Hudsy's overall record is 21-5-1.
