Hudsonville JV Baseball came up short against Rockford on Thursday, falling 11–4 after a tough fourth inning helped swing the game in Rockford’s favor. The Eagles picked up hits from Luke Uhlig, Kayden Rodriguez, Graham Rosema, and Micah McPhaul, with Rodriguez and Rosema each driving in a run. Hudsonville had a few good moments offensively but struggled to string together enough consistent offense against a solid Rockford team. The game changed in the fourth inning when Rockford was able to take advantage of a few Hudsonville errors and put together a seven-run inning to create separation. Despite the setback, the Eagles continued to compete and battled through the final innings. Hudsonville will now look to regroup and get back on track Friday when they host South Christian for a home doubleheader.
