The lady eagles had great performances on Friday at the Regional track meet hosted by Zeeland high school. A number of girls qualified the for D1 state meet. Starting off the day was the 4x800m Relay team (Chloe Purwin, Lexie Snyder, Cassie Karasinski, Grace Snyder) placing 4th with a qualifying time of 9:33.71. Anay Meeuwsen qualified for the state meet in the long jump with wonderful jump of 17' 2" placing 5th. The 4 x 200m Relay team (Sophia DeYoung, Nora Elenbaas, Rylee Poll and Anya Meeuwsen) placed third with a season best time of 1:45.18 and qualified for the state meet. Chloe Purwin also qualified in the 1600m (5:08.65) placing 4th, and Grace Snyder qualified in the 3200m placing 2nd with a time of 11:16.91. Another cool performance of the day was Ellery VanPernis (freshman) tied the school freshman record in the Pole Vault with a jump of 9'0"
