The Varsity Baseball team defeated Grand Ledge Comets on Tuesday 8-0. 5 Senior Pitchers combined for a 16 Strikeout shutout: Ronin Bravata (W 2 innings 5 Ks), Coleton Vander Ploeg (1 inning 3 Ks), Will Pennington (2 innings 5 Ks), Bryton Hanke (1 inning 3 K) and Evan McCoy. The Eagle offense was led by Junior OFer Graeme Crooks who had 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 SBs. Braylon Miller added a hit, run, and RBI. Colin Bauger got Hudsy on the scoreboard with RBI single, 2 runs and a HBP (his 18th of the season). Jack Arens (Sophomore) in his first varsity game delivered a big two out two run double. Brady Schutter and Colin Howard added RBI SFs. The win raised the Eagle's overall record to 28-7-1. They play South Christian at home on Thursday and District Play on Saturday vs Zeeland West at West Ottawa.
