The lady eagles performed well at the Michigan, D1 state track & field meet on May 30th at Rockford High School. The 4x800m relay team consisting of Chloe Purwin, Lexie Snyder, Cassie Karasinski, Grace Snyder, ran a season best time of 9:33.4, only a few seconds off the school record. The 4x200m relay team consisting of Sophie DeYoung, Nora Elenbaas, Rylee Poll and Anya Meeuwsen ran 1:46.6, which is the 4th fastest time in our school's program. In the Long Jump, Anya jumped a 15' 7.25". Chloe Purwin placed 15th in the 1600m with a 5:06.87, just over one second off her PR. Grace Snyder, battled back from an early season injury, won her heat in the 3200m with a 11:06 time, placing 21st in the state.
