The JV Girls Golf Team started the season off strong bringing two squads to the TK Invitational and bringing home 1st at 2nd place finishes. Each squad had 4 girls and then 2 person teams within each squad competed in a Ryder Cup Style tournament where they played 3 holes as a scramble, 3 holes as best ball, and 3 holes as alternate shot. The four person team of Elayna Pasma, Nasia Burns, Brooklyn Malloch, and Jordyn Fox came in 1st with a combined score of 88. In second place the other Hudsonville squad of Mia McClure, Ellery Shirley, Tenley Smit, and Ollie Hasse posted a combined score of 99. Hudsonville also swept the top three for individual pairs. The pair of Brooklyn and Jordyn scored and 44 which tied the pair of Mia and Ellery for 1st place. Right behind them was the pair of Elayna and Nasia with a 45. The Eagles are back in action Wednesday against Caledonia.
