In the first contest of the season the boys JVA squad defeated Unity Christian 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Trenton Neuman assisted by Logan Howlett. The entire team played well and were anchored by Liam Nixon, Cruz Santana, Angel Ibarra, Jaxson Janicki and Lucas Levandoski in the defense. Hudsonville plays at home again on Tuesday against Portage Northern.
