The girls place 2nd in a very close battle between Portage Central and Rockford schools. All 3 teams are ranked in the top 5 in the state. Portage Central won the meet with a total of 91 points, Hudsonville scored 102 points and Rockford 104 points. There were 22 teams in the contest. The eagles were lead by standout sophomore Grace Snyder who has the 7th fastest time in the state so far with a time of 17:46. Chloe Purwin (Sr) placed 5th with a huge PR running an 18:05 (13th fastest time in the state), Lexie Snyder placed 7th with an 18:23, Ashley Wayne had a huge night also running a PR of 19:51, and Michaela Pries rounded out the top 5 with a PR of 20:06. The Eagles JV team placed 4th out of 18 teams. Many PR's were also ran in this race. Hannah Getchell lead the pack along with Mia McCarty placing in the top 7. Rounding out the top 5 were Sophie Barricklow, Addisyn Apol, and Dakota Koeman.
