On Saturday, girls varsity volleyball traveled to Brighton, MI to compete in a top tournament of east vs west side teams. The eagles battled all day coming out 3-2 on the day. The #5 eagles lost a close match to #2 Marian 22-25, 25-21, 11-15, defeated Saline 25-19 25-14, defeated #6 South Lyon East 31-29 and 25-23, lost a heartbreaker to HM Brighton 19-25, 25-10, 14-16, and ended the day defeating Dexter 23-25, 25-15, and 15-8. It was a long and competitive day for our lady eagles. They played hard throughout all 5 matches. The eagles are now 14-2 overall and 2-0 in the OK Red. We continue play at Home on Tuesday vs #1 in D2 Grand Rapids Christian. The eagles are home again Thursday vs West Ottawa in the OK Red and Home on Saturday for another tournament. Fire up!
