Varsity Girls Golf in 3rd Place After Round 1 of Lober Classic

The Eagle Golfers dodged the rain Tuesday shooting a team score of 362 on the Mountain Ridge Course at Crystal Mountain. The team is currently in 3rd place overall. Going low for the team was junior Raylee Loughin shooting a 77. She is currently in 5th place, three strokes back from the lead. Also scoring for the Eagles were senior Ashlyn VanderBaan (83), sophomore Fiona Bielecki with a personal record (97), and junior Tatum Samaniego (105). Not scoring but also playing senior Charlotte Spaniolo (110), junior Natalia Henriquez (112), and senior Scarlett Coulter (129). The Eagles look to finish the second round strong on Wednesday on the Betsie Valley Course.
