In a field of 16 teams from all over the state, the Eagles took 5th place overall shooting a 372 in the East/West 18-hole Invitational at Muskegon Country Club on Monday. Byron Center won the overall tournament with a 342. In the points competition, it was a very close match, but the East side teams won taking home the trophy today. Senior Ashlyn VanderBaan went low for the Eagles with an individual 5th place finish, 83. Also scoring for the Eagles were Junior Tatum Samaniego 92-16th, Junior Raylee Loughin 93-19th, and Senior Charlotte Spaniolo 104-42nd. Not scoring but playing for the team were Senior Scarlette Coulter 112-66th and Sophomore Fiona Bielecki 114-67th. The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday in an OK Red 9-hole Jamboree at Blythefield Country Club.
