It was a beautiful day to be on the golf course and the Eagles worked hard to take the Runner-up spot shooting a team score of 380 at Kaufman GC on Monday. Highlight of the day was Junior Kiera Kniebes holing out her second shot for an eagle on hole number six! The team was led by Senior Ashlyn VanderBaan who finished tied for first place individually with Grand Haven's Colbie Livingston shooting a six over par 78. Also scoring for the Eagles were Junior Tatum Samaniego (97-11th), Senior Scarlett Coulter (98-12th Personal Record), and Freshman Mia McClure (107-20th Personal Record). Not scoring but also playing were Senior Charlotte Spaniolo (109-22nd), Sophomore Fiona Bielecki (111-25th), and Kiera Kniebes (Individual 92-7th). The Eagles are right back in action Tuesday at the OK Red Jamboree hosted by East Kentwood at Stonewater CC.
